Day One Chamboree 2010

The boys are writing messages about camp each day - hopefully they will get a little more informative as they go on. It's been the opening ceremony tonight so they should have a lot to say about Robbie Williams tomorrow!

Thank you to everyone that supported the 80's themed disco and sold raffle tickets on our behalf, we raised on the night £463 and £480 on the raffle. The order has now been put in for our new canadian canoe.

To see more photos of the night please visit our activities page.

Scouts were also raising money on the night for their second Shelterbox by running a Children's Bar, they managed to raise another £44 giving them a total of £129

Thanks to Richard Ford and Eddie Wells for organising such a good disco.

Thanks also go to members of vale royal freecycle who donated most of the 80's decorations.
